Step outside your comfort zone

I’m writing this from the Himalayan mountains after completing a hike to Tigers Nest, a buddhist monastery, in Bhutan.

This spectacular monastery sits on the side of a cliff at 3120 mars.

The climb to the top was about 3 hours including a stop on the way up at a tea house.

This was a bucket list of mine for a long time, but if you had of asked me last year if I thought I would be going and be capable of such a climb, I don’t know what I would have said.

When opportunity arises, sometimes we just need to go for it.

Stepping outside our comfort zone is so important for us all.

When we experience new things, we learn, we challenge ourselves to be able to reach a new level in our life and in our personal growth.

When we step out into the unknown this is where progress begins and the magic happens.

I feel a sense of achievement and empowerment since the hike and this trip,  and I know this will have a ripple effect in my life.

When did you last step outside your comfort zone? It doesn’t need to be travel, it can be trying a new hobby, sport, or learning something new. Anytime you challenge yourself, you are growing.

I would love to hear back from you  on what you thought of this month’s focus in the comments below or on our Facebook group.

Lots of love

Em xo
