I was a shy girl growing up, and never enjoyed public speaking.

There were times where I was more confident, eg around some of my close peers, but the confidence seemed to come and go, depending on the situation.

I often used to wonder why anyone would be interested in what I had to say. 

Even today, that little voice of doubt pops up every now and then, but luckily I can now reason with it.

I believe that if we’re afraid of something or not wanting to do something, it can often mean it’s the very thing we need to do more of.

‘What we resist persists’

Eg those Pilates moves we don’t enjoy are most likely the ones we need to do!

Doing what challenges us can help to overcome the fear, negative belief, or struggle around it.

Now days I try to put myself situations that are outside my comfort zone as much as possible, to make sure I’m always growing.

Which is one of the reasons why I accepted to speak on a number of podcasts interviews recently.

I was nervous at first, but ended up really enjoying the experiences.

I look forward to sharing the interviews with you over the coming months.
