It’s common to get tight neck and shoulder muscles when you’re working at your desk/lap top.

Whenย we sit for long periodsย at a time we often lose our good posture, especiallyย ifย ourย back musclesย are not strong enough to hold us upright.

We tend to get tight in the front chest muscles, weak in the front neck muscles and tight in the back of the neck and shoulder muscles.ย

Practising Pilates really helps to strengthen the posture muscles that hold us upright.

It’s also handy to know a few stretches and exercises that help to relieve the tension.

Try out this video belowย to give you some ideas and relief at your desk.
