These last two years have certainly been a challenge for most of us in some way.

I’ve had to keep a close eye on my mental health at times, and know many others who’ve been the same.

It’s hard not to be affected by what’s been going on in the world.

With challenges however, always come learnings.

I’ve always known movement helps my mental health, but it’s been highlighted even more recently.

Movement, especially Pilates and Yoga, helps us to get out of our head, where our worry, stress and anxiety lives, and turns our focus back into our body.

This keeps us more in the present moment.

It also helps reduce stress hormones and release more happy hormones.
