Consistency is key
I thought it was a great time to talk about consistency, seeing as we are 2/3 of the way through the 21 Day Challenge.
I often get asked how many classes do we need to do to get results.
The answer is minimum 3 per week.
The reason being, it’s challenging to make changes with only one class per week, or to see change in anything once a week for that matter.
To grow and improve it has to be 2/3 times per week.
Regarding recommended length of class you’ll still see changes in less time but I recommend min 30 mins per session if you’re doing it 3 times per week.
If you’re doing more sessions per week, you can drop to 15-20 min sessions.
As Joseph Pilates says
“In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 seconds you;ll see the difference, and in 30 sessions you’ll have a whole new body!
Well it will still be your body, but it will feel, toned, invigorated, strong, flexible and empowered.
Sometimes I don’t always do Pilates 30 mins 3 times per week.
Sometimes I will do 10 – 15 mins most days. It depends on my schedule, time I have available, and also how I feel.
There is no set formula, however to ensure you move most days, it’s important to schedule your workouts, or at least have some sort of routine.
My current routine often looks like this;
Some stretches and meditation in the morning (on a good day) then my morning walk, and then in the afternoon or evening I do either some Pilates,//Yoga or strength training. Or I may start my morning with a class, then go for a walk in the afternoon. I mix it up sometimes depending on how I feel.
Once you’re consistent with your workouts , you will really see lasting change. We develop muscle memory and maintain our desirable weight a lot easier.
How does your schedule look?
How i your consistency ?

Decluttering
Monthly Focus - Decluttering I don't know about you but I tend to hold onto things for too long in my life. In fact I know I hoard things! I find it hard to throw things away. I hate waste, so my tenancy is to always want to give something away before throwing it. If...
