The importance of relationships
This month while I’ve been visiting family and friends in Australia, it’s been a great reminder of how important relationships are for our health and wellbeing.
Finding balance in our lives for everything; work, family, friends and ourselves is often a juggle.
However making time for family and friends is vital for us as human beings, as were wired to connect with others from the time we were babies.
Connecting with others helps us to boost our mood and clear our minds.
If we are going through tough times it’s important to stay connected to others around us to keep us positive and take our mind off our worries.
The most important relationship we have, is with the person we spend most of our time with; ourselves.
When we practice caring for ourselves, our relationships with other people tends to also get better.
I think the more we value ourselves and life we realize relationships are a really what life is about.
If we want our relationships to flourish we have to give them love, time and energy.
With today’s technology it’s easy to connect with a simple message or call.
Even if it’s to let our loved ones know we are thinking of them, just to know we are there is comforting.
Making plans to meet up and or take holidays with friends and family, helps to create lasting memories.
How do you feel about your relationships? What do you do to keep them flourishing?
Can you improve the relationship with yourself and or others?
Let me know in the comments below.
Lots of love

‘I am convinced that material things can contribute a lot to making one’s life pleasant, but, basically, if you do not have very good friends and relatives who matter to you, life will be really empty and sad and material things cease to be important’.
