Be, Do, Have

Something I have been reading up about  and putting into practice a lot lately is the concept of Be, Do, Have

Have you heard of this?

I was first introduced to it about many years ago but didn’t pay it much attention. Now it’s come back into my life and I’m really noticing the difference.

It’s a fact that we all want to DO, BE and HAVE certain things in our lives. More often than not we are focus on the HAVE.

We want to have an education, good family relationships, more money, a new home, a baby, a trip around the world, a more toned physique, what ever it maybe.

If we revisit the order, we may have a better chance of achieving what it is we are wanting.

So instead of focusing on the HAVE, see if you can start to think about BE and DO.

“You’ve got to be before you can do and do before you can have.”

Be Do Have

First we “be” what we want (peaceful, loving, inspired, abundant, energetic, or whatever), then we start “doing” things from this state of being – and soon we discover that what we’re doing winds up bringing us the things we’ve always wanted to “have.”

One example for me is that I’ve been making sure my morning routine is a non negotiable. Walk or swim, Pilates or Yoga, and eat a good breakfast, before I start my work day. It means that I’m more focused and have more energy and am able to have more of what I want out of my day,

When I’m being that person who makes the time to take care of herself, I achieve far more in my day. I’m more creative and can also serve others with a full cup.

So ask yourself….

Who must I BE,
What must I DO,
So that I can HAVE.

Let me know how this resonates with you and if so, what changes, if any can you make in order to BE, DO, then HAVE more?
