This is a great class to challenge you in different ways using the chair to help with balance, to strengthen certain body parts, to help to engage certain body parts and also to add more challenge.

    Modified some of these, I can’t weight bear on one foot at present due to fractured ankle&foot – good to find something I can do. Any other suggestions ?

      Sorry to hear about your injury. Hope everything is okay.

      Glad you found some modifications that work for you!

      Emma has a lot of upper-body Pilates classes, especially seated ones inside the Core Fit Club, some of which will be great if you’re unable to weight bear.

      To filter for upper body classes, follow these steps:

      1. Click the “Search Classes” button on your main dashboard (black box).
      2. You’ll be directed to a page with options to filter classes by Program, Class Type, Difficulty, Body Part, and Time.
      3. Click the “Body Part” dropdown arrow and select “Upper Body.”
      4. You’ll then see approx 30 different upper body classes to choose from and enjoy.

      Also, check out the foot health class in the specialty section, which can help strengthen and stretch your ankle and foot after you have healed.

    Really enjoyed this one, as I do all tbh, Emma!!! Loved the different feel and challenge of leg lowers holding the chair, the plank and hip lowers were great with the chair prop, too. Thank you ;), Fay
