Day 5 – Pilates Back Focus
This is a multi level class, suitable for beginners and intermediate level.
Ideally you are not feeling neck or back pain during your Pilates classes.
You will feel back strengthening but you need to learn the difference between bad pain and building muscle pain.
It takes time to build up back strength, so if you can’t do some of these moves that involve a lot of bending into the lower back don’t worry. Take your time, focus on the upper back work first. Many of us start out weaker in the lower back.
Please take modifications as needed and listen to your body.
