Today’s Yoga class will begin with a breathing technique called Ujjayi breath.

This is great to help you slow down you breathing. 

When your breathing is calm and slow, your mind also calms.

You’ll feel warm and energised as we move through sun salutations and into stronger poses like warrior and goddess pose.

We finish by relaxing in Corpse Pose (Savasana).

This is sometimes the hardest pose, because not everyone can relax well. 😉

In this pose we are forced to stop, and with our eyes closed, and no longer being active, it makes it easier to become aware of the breath and focus our attention inwards.

These last Yoga sessions are a little longer as I’m incorporating more mediation and breathing focus as well.
